After 20 years in retail management and self-employment as an artist, Susan MacPherson became a doula in 1999. Over the years, she has worked with so many sets of twins that she has lost count! She has studied infant sleep for the past 7 years and frequently works with clients to help develop healthy sleep habits or to correct sleep problems.

NAPS Doulas is excited to present this continuing education event focused on the added emotional and physical challenges of twins and specially geared for the overnight doula.  During this class, we will:
-Examine the challenges that parents of twins encounter
-Explore how doulas can be a first line of defense for these extra demands
-Share techniques and info that may make twin care easier
-Learn how healthy sleep patterns can be encouraged
-Tips on on equipment, feeding and organizing for twins
-Share with each other our insights and challenges in overnight work
-Discuss how doulas can stay healthy while working nights with twins
This will be a two hour class and will count toward NAPS Doulas’s certification requirements.
