Dr. April Bolding is a physical therapist who specializes in an integrative approach to Women’s Health. She holds a doctorate in physical therapy, is a Maya Abdominal Therapy practitioner, childbirth educator, birth doula, fitness instructor, presenter, author.
NAPS Doulas is excited to present this continuing education event focused on helping postpartum mothers heal and set realistic expectations for their return to exercise. Topics covered will be issues related to the pelvic floor (incontinence, prolapse, perineal scarring), abdominal separation (diastasis), and how the birth experience impacts a woman’s pelvic bowl.
This will be a two hour class and will count toward NAPS Doulas’s certification requirements.
